Joost van Stuyvenberg began this R10 reference page more than a year ago but due to other commitments he was unable to continue. Joost put out the word of his intentions and asked if anyone desired to continue his efforts. I answered his request and he was kind enough to accept my offer. I hope that I am able to do justice to this effort and continue in Joosts foot steps. He has given me his original html files to tailor as needed. The look and content will remain much the same. Thank you to Joost for your trust and for allowing me to continue this effort !

R10 Reference is a way of finding out and sharing technical details of the IC-R10. It is on its way to becoming one of the most complete reference guides to iCOM's IC-R10, a popular scanner currently in use throughout the world. Please note that I am in no way related to iCOM or any of its resellers.
What is R10 Reference?
Yes you are. Without you, these pages will never be complete. If you have anything to share with other users, like schematics, photographs, user experiences, questions, etc. etc. please do not hesitate and send it.

Disclaimer
Please be aware of the fact that there are three different models of the IC-R10 (one for the USA, one for France and one for the rest of the world) and model differences may be found both in software and in hardware implementation. Tools, schematics, etc. offered here may or may not work for you due to these model differences. Currently, very little is known about these country-specific features.
